Borrby United FC's Andréas Österlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Borrby United FC from getting a goal against them. Tim Igelström struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Adam Söderlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borrby United FC. Rune Palmkvist's late challenge caught a Borrby United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Palmkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kyrkhult FK's Rune Palmkvist got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute Robert Arenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Kellman got free with Andréas Österlund in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Borrby United FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dick Löfgren hit a great ball. Joachim Klint shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kyrkhult FK's goalkeeper Adam Söderlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Göran Stensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Adam Söderlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andréas Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Stor in the 36th minute of play. Lukas Stor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Österlund having to interfere. Adam Söderlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Igelström in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kyrkhult FK's goalkeeper Adam Söderlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Robert Arenius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kyrkhult FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borrby United FC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Robert Arenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kyrkhult FK's Adam Söderlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Stensson in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Göran Stensson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Söderlund. Göran Stensson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 73 minutes into the match, Kyrkhult FK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Stensson came free, but Adam Söderlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mårten Kellman in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andréas Österlund saved Borrby United FC from getting behind. When Lukas Stor came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Kyrkhult FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Stor couldn't finish the play. Mårten Kellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Österlund having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Knut Bure during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Borrby United FC's Tim Igelström got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kyrkhult FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Borrby United FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Borrby United FC.
