Kristoffer Hjortsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Åke Barck in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Eskilsson saved Rune BK from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Karl-Johan Backlund made a precise shot to the right of Kent Eskilsson. Rune BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jens-Åke Barck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Eskilsson having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Karl-Johan Backlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Eskilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Eskilsson came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Målles Mål's Stellan Lång. But to his dismay, Stellan Lång quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jens-Åke Barck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Eskilsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Kent Eskilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Målles Mål's Ivar Blomquist suffered a concussion after 34 minutes and had to leave the field. 34 minutes into the game, Lars Anselius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rune BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Målles Mål the free kick. Lars Anselius hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jens-Åke Barck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Eskilsson having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Jens-Åke Barck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Rune BK booed when Målles Mål was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Backlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Målles Mål were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kristoffer Hjortsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Karl-Erik Boström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Börje Ahlén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kent Eskilsson. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. When Jens-Åke Barck came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Målles Mål fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Åke Barck couldn't finish the play. If Jens-Åke Barck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jens-Åke Barck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Målles Mål's Jens-Åke Barck got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Åke Barck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Eskilsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Rune BK's Kent Eskilsson got control of the ball when Börje Ahlén tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Rune BK booed when Målles Mål was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Backlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Eskilsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Åke Barck went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of Målles Mål booed when Rune BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Barck got free with Kent Eskilsson in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens-Åke Barck struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Kent Eskilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Målles Mål. Jens-Åke Barck succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 97th playminute. When the match was over Målles Mål could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rune BK throughout the match.
