Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Johan Backlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. Folke Västerstrand charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Folke Västerstrand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Målles Mål! Rickard Bengtsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Johan Backlund's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Karl-Erik Boström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Löv, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ivar Blomquist's late challenge caught a Myresjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Blomquist helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Målles Mål got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Blomquist. Karl-Johan Backlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Myresjö's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jens-Åke Barck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Backlund in the 20th minute of play forced Myresjö's goalkeeper Rickard Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karl-Johan Backlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myresjö's Rickard Bengtsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Myresjö from getting a goal against them. Jens-Åke Barcks short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Rickard Bengtsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jens-Åke Barck scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Bengtsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Målles Mål's Börje Ahlén got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Forsberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jens-Åke Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Målles Mål was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Backlund to maneuver through the defense. Myresjö's Rickard Bengtsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Myresjö from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Linus Martinsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rickard Bengtsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Johan Backlund's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Målles Mål's Jens-Åke Barck got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jens-Åke Barck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Målles Mål's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Åke Barck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Bengtsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Myresjö's Rickard Bengtsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Barck in the 65th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Myresjö's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Backlund came free, but Rickard Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Martinsson in the 76th minute of play. Jens-Åke Barck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Backlund in the 83rd minute of play forced Myresjö's goalkeeper Rickard Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Backlund in the 86th minute of play. Målles Mål's Börje Ahlén got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rickard Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Barck in the 92nd minute of the match. Jens-Åke Barck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rickard Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Barck in the 96th minute of play forced Myresjö's goalkeeper Rickard Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Målles Mål were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
