In the 7th minute Filiph Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiph Sandström's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Douglas Rosendal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Åke Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Kennet Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalle Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Lundgren having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Åberg during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Rossoneri's Bertil Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Rossoneri from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Kennet Lind notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stenkarns IF's Bengt-Åke Lundgren.
