When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Stenkarns IF's Mikael Springfält got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Joakim Lidström. Tage Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Långbäcken's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Bröms came free, but Joakim Lidström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tage Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Joakim Lidström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Jimmie Bröms recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joakim Lidström. Jimmie Bröms showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 43 minutes into the game, Anthon Gernberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bengt-Åke Lundgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Isak Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthon Gernberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Tage Åberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Långbäcken's Joakim Lidström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Bröms in the 58th minute of play forced Långbäcken's goalkeeper Joakim Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Jimmie Bröms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Långbäcken's Joakim Lidström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Bröms in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Bröms in the 84th minute of play forced Långbäcken's goalkeeper Joakim Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Jimmie Bröms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Långbäcken players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Stenkarns IF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
