Långbäcken's Joakim Lidström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Långbäcken from getting a goal against them. In the 9thth minute of the game Isak Söderqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Värnamo's Henric Walroth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Jens-Ola Sävström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joakim Lidström skillfully saved the ball. Långbäcken's Joakim Lidström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Skräddare in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Värnamo getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Claes Lundin hit a great ball. Långbäcken's Isak Söderqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Anthon Gernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Anthon Gernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långbäcken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthon Gernberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute Jens Skräddare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Lidström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Skräddare, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Skräddare in the 32nd minute of play forced Långbäcken's goalkeeper Joakim Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Jens Skräddare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Värnamo's Henric Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Gernberg in the 45th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthon Gernberg made a kick off. Joakim Lidström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Skräddare in the 69th minute of the match. Jens Skräddare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Jens-Ola Sävström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Värnamo and the Långbäcken players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Långbäcken booed when Värnamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Sävström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henric Walroth acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Stefan Vallman. 80 minutes into the match, Långbäcken's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Skräddare came free, but Joakim Lidström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Långbäcken booed when Värnamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isak Söderqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
