But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Termander couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Jönsson in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Smed saved Åseda IK from getting behind. If Alf Bure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A hard shot 18 in the game by Ludvig Bergqvist from a close distance when the talented Lennart Lund managed to make a qualified save. Luxostars IF's players were relieved. The supporters of Luxostars IF booed when Åseda IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Grubb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Åseda IK got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Markusson. After 33 minutes, Jonathan Sävström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luxostars IF and the Åseda IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Luxostars IF got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Sävström. Malte Hultin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Åseda IK got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Simonsson. After 43 minutes Åseda IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christer Vallmark who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Christer Vallmark got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Folke Smed quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Markusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Åseda IK's Folke Smed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Åseda IK from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Åseda IK's goalkeeper Folke Smed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Bure. Jonathan Sävström was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 58 minutes into the match, Luxostars IF's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Markusson came free, but Lennart Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingvar Dahlberg hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Lennart Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Bergqvist in the 67th minute of the match. Henrik Markusson struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Lennart Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åseda IK. After having played for 76 minutes, Henrik Markusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åseda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Markusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lennart Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Bergqvist in the 81st minute of the match. Patrik Simonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Lund having to interfere. Alf Bure received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Folke Smed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
