Spectators: 6954 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emil Eliasson kicked off to start the match. Ludvig Bergqvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michael Nyman could save by the left post. Folke Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Eliasson in the 6th minute of play. Folke Smed stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inge Alebom's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute Henrik Markusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, one of Ärla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Åseda IK. Inge Tunberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Michael Nyman. 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Åseda IK's Ludvig Bergqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Åseda IK's zone, Emil Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Smed came out of the goal and Emil Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Folke Smed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Folke Smed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Alebom in the 33rd minute of the match. Åseda IK's Folke Smed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Alebom in the 35th minute of play. If Henrik Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 played minutes Ärla got a freekick which was hit by George Bergstedt. Ludvig Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Michael Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Markusson was the one to do the kick off. Ludvig Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Michael Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Bergstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Bergstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ärla getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. George Bergstedt hit a great ball. Henrik Markusson scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Nyman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Nyman came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Åseda IK's Ludvig Bergqvist. But to his dismay, Ludvig Bergqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Inge Alebom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Smed having to interfere. Emil Eliasson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Folke Smed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ärla. When Ludvig Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Åseda IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludvig Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Ärla's Inge Alebom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Smed narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Ludvig Bergqvist made a precise shot to the right of Michael Nyman. Ärla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Åseda IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
