Vassmolösa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Forssberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 20 minutes, Stig-Arne Fågel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vassmolösa and the Ödåkra IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mats Trulsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Blom in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Ödåkra IFK booed when Vassmolösa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Fågel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Ivar Blom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Trulsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Vassmolösa getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Karl Nilsson hit a great ball. Ivar Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Trulsson having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Daniel Lundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mats Trulsson. Vassmolösa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Lundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Mats Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After the first half Ödåkra IFK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig-Arne Fågel was the one to do the kick off. Ivar Blom hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ödåkra IFK booed when Vassmolösa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Lundström struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mats Trulsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ödåkra IFK. Mats Trulsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Blom in the 67th minute of play. Mats Trulsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Sjöberg in the 69th minute of the match. Mats Trulsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Lundström in the 74th minute. Daniel Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Ivar Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Trulsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Björkkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingvar Björkkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 80 minutes into the game, one of Vassmolösa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 92 minutes into the game, Ivar Blom lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Mats Trulsson. The Vassmolösa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ödåkra IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
