Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) Backabo FC's Helge Lindberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eric Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Samuelsson in the 3rd minute of the match. If Helge Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Real Gotland FC's zone, Martin Samuelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Bergman came out of the goal and Martin Samuelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Gotland FC's goalkeeper Eric Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eric Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helge Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Real Gotland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Samuelsson came free, but Eric Bergman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Lidberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Martin Samuelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melker Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Hubert Andreasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eskil Hjortsberg was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Eric Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Lindberg in the 54th minute of the match. Martin Blomkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Eric Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Bergman having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uno Örtendahl in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eskil Hjortsberg saved Backabo FC from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Hubert Andreasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eskil Hjortsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Real Gotland FC's Uno Örtendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Backabo FC's Edmund Sjöö got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Eskil Hjortsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute of the match Rickard Möller shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eskil Hjortsberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eskil Hjortsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uno Örtendahl's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Hubert Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Hjortsberg having to interfere. Uno Örtendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Lindqvist hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Real Gotland FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Backabo FC for a fine match.
