Eldsberga's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Lekberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Sellberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Eldsberga fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Eldsberga's Alf Lekberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eldsberga reached it. A collision led to Eldsberga getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Johan Nordin hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Jörgen Billing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eldsberga and the Viksjöfors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Viksjöfors booed when Eldsberga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Niclas Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alf Lekberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Mårten Sellberg made a huge save. If David Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viksjöfors's goalkeeper Mårten Sellberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
