Möklinta RK's Lars Hallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Sjö in the 9th minute of play. Kurt Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Viksjöfors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sören Pihlwall might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mårten Sellberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sören Pihlwall ran back to his position shaking his head. Sören Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Sellberg having to interfere. Sören Pihlwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Möklinta RK's Sören Pihlwall got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Jonas Lindmark cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mårten Sellberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Jonas Lindmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Sjö in the 76th minute of play forced Möklinta RK's goalkeeper Lars Hallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Gabrielsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Lars Hallgren made a huge save. Kurt Ekgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mårten Sellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sören Pihlwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Jonas Lindmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Sellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Viksjöfors's Kent Johnsson got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mårten Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Möklinta RK's Sören Pihlwall got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Möklinta RK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
