Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rutger Gråberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bengt-Arne Blom came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Libbarbo IF's Rutger Gråberg. But to his dismay, Rutger Gråberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 20th minute of the match Sven-Arne Forss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Oskar Levander skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Källberg in the 21st minute of play forced Libbarbo IF's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Levander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Jonathan Boström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calle Pååk got free with Bengt-Arne Blom in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 29 minutes, Rutger Gråberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libbarbo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rutger Gråberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Älmhult FF's Bengt-Arne Blom got control of the ball when Calle Pååk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torgny Jernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Källberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torgny Jernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Levander having to interfere. If Torgny Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Oskar Källberg to make the kick off. Sven-Oskar Levander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl-Oskar Källberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 55 minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Torgny Jernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älmhult FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Jernberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inge Hökkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inge Hökkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, one of Libbarbo IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Libbarbo IF. Herbert Stor kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Libbarbo IF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Calle Pååk hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Sven-Arne Forss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th match minute, Libbarbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Brolin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Libbarbo IF's zone, Karl-Oskar Källberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Oskar Levander came out of the goal and Karl-Oskar Källberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Calle Pååk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libbarbo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Pååk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Calle Pååk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt-Arne Blom was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. A collision led to Älmhult FF getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Herbert Stor hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
