Spectators: 6937 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Karl-Oskar Källberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Konga RK got a freekick which was hit by Nils Mickelsson. Calle Gabrielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Arne Blom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calle Gabrielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 minutes of play, Konga RK's Calle Gabrielsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Arne Blom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calle Gabrielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Blom having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Gabrielsson in the 25th minute of play forced Älmhult FF's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konga RK's Nils Mickelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Älmhult FF's Hannes Dalberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bengt-Arne Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Gabrielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th match minute, Konga RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Mickelsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Calle Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Calle Gabrielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calle Gabrielsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Lennartsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calle Gabrielssons short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Bengt-Arne Blom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Isak Alebäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Stor went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With splendid footwork Calle Gabrielsson arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-3 by the left pole in the game's 73rd minute. Bengt-Arne Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Gabrielsson in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calle Gabrielsson in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Arne Blom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Calle Gabrielsson sped through Älmhult FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bengt-Arne Blom. 95 minutes into the game, Calle Gabrielsson lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Bengt-Arne Blom. Konga RK played a much better game than Älmhult FF and deserved their victory. The Älmhult FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
