Jörgen Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Frykberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Hernström made a kick off. Leonardo Hernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Sigvard Lång sent off a good shot on target. After 58 played minutes Vellinge got a freekick which was hit by Robin Löv. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Hernström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Fredriksson was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Sigvard Lång came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Långträsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigvard Lång couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Vellinge's Victor Fredriksson got control of the ball when Ronny Blanck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Leonardo Hernström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långträsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Hernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee showed Per Frykberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
