After 4 minutes of play, AC Giraffen's William Giöck made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertil Nordkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Fårbo FK's zone, Tommy Siöman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Nordkvist came out of the goal and Tommy Siöman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Juhlin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Arne Holmgren in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bertil Nordkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Siöman got free with Bertil Nordkvist in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Giöcks short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Bertil Nordkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 24 played minutes Fårbo FK got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Morat. After a defensive mix-up in Fårbo FK's zone, Jan Fogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Nordkvist came out of the goal and Jan Fogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AC Giraffen's William Giöck got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertil Nordkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Siöman in the 32nd minute. Rolf Örnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolf Örnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rolf Örnberg hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of AC Giraffen booed when Fårbo FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Rang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes Fårbo FK got a freekick which was hit by Elliott Petersson. William Giöcks short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Bertil Nordkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when William Giöck made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Fårbo FK's Arvid Morat got a free kick in the 50th minute. The audience was convinced that William Giöck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Nordkvist was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Fårbo FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Siöman came free, but Bertil Nordkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute AC Giraffen were awarded a corner. Jan Fogel went to the cornerflag to take it. Bertil Nordkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arne Holmgren went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When William Giöck came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the AC Giraffen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Giöck couldn't finish the play. AC Giraffen made a substitution. Erling Stigsson replaced Arne Holmgren. In the 68thth minute of the game William Giöck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fårbo FK's Bertil Nordkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, AC Giraffen's Sten Karlberg got control of the ball when Elliott Petersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Erling Stigsson made a precise shot to the right of Bertil Nordkvist. Fårbo FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Elliot Rang hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Bertil Nordkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Siöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that William Giöck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Nordkvist was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the AC Giraffen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
