Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5110, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 50) Fårbo FK's Patrik Broberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Olle Kvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vemdalen IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Olle Kvarnström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Nordkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Nordkvist having to interfere. Kasper Isaksson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott Petersson got free with Allan Björk in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes Vemdalen IK got a freekick which was hit by Richard Albäck. Allan Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Broberg in the 14th minute of the match. Elliott Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Allan Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Broberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Allan Björk having to make a save. Olle Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olle Kvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertil Nordkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Gallberg in the 29th minute of play. Allan Björk was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Patrik Broberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrik Broberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 40th minute, Fårbo FK's Patrik Broberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Allan Björk. Allan Björk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Allan Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Broberg in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olle Kvarnström to make the kick off. When Vemdalen IK's Olle Kvarnström in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fårbo FK's goalie prevented a goal. When Jonas Gallberg came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Vemdalen IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Gallberg couldn't finish the play. Jonas Gallberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bertil Nordkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vemdalen IK. 62 minutes into the match, Vemdalen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Broberg came free, but Allan Björk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Vemdalen IK's Bertil Nordkvist threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olle Kvarnström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the game, Elliott Petersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Allan Björk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bertil Nordkvist made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jonas Gallberg sent off a good shot on target. Elliott Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Gallberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bertil Nordkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vemdalen IK. After 87 played minutes Fårbo FK got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Kvist. Fårbo FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
