In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ullpan BK's goalkeeper Erik Kollberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birger Bruhn came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ullpan BK's Robert Sävström. But to his dismay, Robert Sävström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Fridlund got free with Erik Kollberg in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thor Bergren made a kick off. The supporters of Wildboys booed when Ullpan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andy Vennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Bruhn having to interfere. Martin Sander charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Sander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ullpan BK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Martin Sander hit a great ball. Erik Kollberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Bergren in the 80th minute of the match. Wildboys's Birger Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Landin in the 91st minute of play. Birger Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Landin in the 93rd minute of play. If Thor Bergren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
