Pidgey United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Nordström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Vilhelmina FK's Rune Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Bollström in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Alstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilhelmina FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pidgey United the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Vilhelmina FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Alstedt to maneuver through the defense. Rune Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Bollström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Elof Levander made the kick off in the second half. Anton Nordström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Oscar Söderqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kristian Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vilhelmina FK's zone, Kristian Bollström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Unesson came out of the goal and Kristian Bollström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 59th minute of the match Jan-Olof Alstedt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jan-Olof Alstedt a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jan-Olof Alstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Vilhelmina FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gottfrid Söderberg hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Kristian Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Michael Billberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Unesson having to make a save. Rune Unesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Bollström in the 78th minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Pidgey United's Karl-Michael Billberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Unesson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
