The supporters of Blattnicksele IFK booed when Odelsbergs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Glad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute Dag Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Glad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Skog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Fredric Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Dag Nordström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Odelsbergs BK's Fredric Skog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Odelsbergs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Strömberg came free, but Fredric Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dag Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fredric Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odelsbergs BK's Fredric Skog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Nordström in the 43rd minute of play. Stig Glad struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fredric Skog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blattnicksele IFK. Fredric Skog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Nordström in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Sandwall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Stig Glad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Nordström in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredric Skog saved Odelsbergs BK from getting behind. The supporters of Odelsbergs BK booed when Blattnicksele IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Ekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stig Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Skog having to interfere. After 66 minutes of play, Blattnicksele IFK's Stig Glad made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredric Skog was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dag Nordström had several of the Odelsbergs BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Fredric Skog as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Dag Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Stig Glad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blattnicksele IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Glad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Skog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Odelsbergs BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blattnicksele IFK:s goal. The referee gave Blattnicksele IFK a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonathan Kjellman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Odelsbergs BK's Fredric Skog. 0-5. Fredric Skog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Glad in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Dag Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stig Glad came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Blattnicksele IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Glad couldn't finish the play. Blattnicksele IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
