Fredrik Siggesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harald Pihl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Siggesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Harald Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Juhlin in the 9th minute of play. With his leg Harald Pihl managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when IFK stölpskött's Christian Juhlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 18 played minutes IFK stölpskött got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Collin. After having played for 19 minutes, Torbjörn Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Momido FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Hafström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Juhlin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Harald Pihl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Momido FF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Magnus Waller hit a great ball. Harald Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Siggesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Pihl having to interfere. After a rather tough play, IFK stölpskött's Karl-Oskar Fridlund got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Gösta Collin fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK stölpskött's protests and gave Gösta Collin a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Collin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Torbjörn Hafström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Jönsson during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes IFK stölpskött got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Jönsson.

After having played for 64 minutes, Torbjörn Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Momido FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Hafström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Momido FF's zone, Börje Pååk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Pihl came out of the goal and Börje Pååk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of IFK stölpskött booed when Momido FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Stenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes, IFK stölpskött's Hans Blom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harald Pihl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK stölpskött reached it. Harald Pihl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Juhlin's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Christian Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Pihl having to interfere. Niclas Stenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Momido FF's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Siggesson came free, but Harald Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arman Ahlstedt's late challenge caught a IFK stölpskött's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arman Ahlstedt helped the player get up and apologised. Arman Ahlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Gustaf Haeger hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Magnus Waller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the IFK stölpskött players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
