Rutger Eliasson ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Juhlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Per Haraldsson made a huge save. The supporters of IFK stölpskött booed when Ruth Wegaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fredrik Siggesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Hybbert's late challenge caught a IFK stölpskött's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Hybbert helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ruth Wegaz! Christian Juhlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Per Haraldsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutger Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rutger Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rutger Eliasson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Christian Juhlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Ingvar Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, IFK stölpskött's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Ingemarsson came free, but Agne Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruth Wegaz's Per Haraldsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ruth Wegaz from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Gustaf Haeger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rutger Eliasson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Agne Johnsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Siggesson in the 34th minute of play forced Ruth Wegaz's goalkeeper Per Haraldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christian Juhlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruth Wegaz's Rutger Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match Mats Pihlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agne Johnsson skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, IFK stölpskött's Gösta Collin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Per Haraldsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Siggesson in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rutger Eliasson made a kick off. Per Haraldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Siggesson in the 54th minute of the match. Christian Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Haraldsson having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Fredrik Siggesson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ruth Wegaz's Per Haraldsson. Per Haraldsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Christian Juhlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Haraldsson was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Fredrik Siggesson scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per Haraldsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Haeger during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Ruth Wegaz's Göran Hybbert got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Agne Johnsson. Fredrik Siggesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per Haraldsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. IFK stölpskött's Christian Juhlin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Haraldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Siggesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Hybbert got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Göran Hybbert hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes, IFK stölpskött's Allan Sjödin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Per Haraldsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK stölpskött reached it. Per Haraldsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Siggesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The IFK stölpskött fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ruth Wegaz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
