The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Lars Hagberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hans Utter might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Jonasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Larsson's late challenge caught a Klädesholmen BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Larsson helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the match, Klädesholmen BK's goalkeeper Jack Gråberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Hagberg. Lars Hagberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jack Gråberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 27th minute, Lars Hagberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 minutes, Dan Qvalfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Klädesholmen BK and the Alex mannar fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jack Gråberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Aronsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex mannar fc's Åke Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Utter in the 43rd minute of play. Thomas Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jack Gråberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Sune Sandberg made the kick off in the second half. Jack Gråberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Aronsson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Aronsson in the 62nd minute of play forced Klädesholmen BK's goalkeeper Jack Gråberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Aronsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Gråberg having to interfere. If Thomas Aronsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klädesholmen BK's Sune Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Lars Hagberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alex mannar fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Hagberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Gråberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lars Hagberg came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Alex mannar fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Hagberg couldn't finish the play. Hans Utter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Alex mannar fc getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Andréas Andersson hit a great ball. Tom Vennerdal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 96 minutes into the match, Klädesholmen BK's Herman Vennerdal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
