Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Överhörnäs BK's goalkeeper Aron Jonsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Linus Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forshaga IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Överhörnäs BK's zone, Rutger Täman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Jonsson came out of the goal and Rutger Täman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egon Jonasson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Klas Smed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aron Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Smed in the 15th minute of play forced Överhörnäs BK's goalkeeper Aron Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forshaga IF's Nils Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Felin in the 21st minute of play. If Klas Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Nilsson in the 35th minute of play. Överhörnäs BK's Aron Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Smed in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Forshaga IF got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Täman. In the 41st minute Överhörnäs BK were awarded a corner. Vilhelm Gudmundsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Vilhelm Gudmundsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nils Gustavsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 45th minute, Linus Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klas Smed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Aron Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Forshaga IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Arne Sundén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Arne Sundén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Gustavsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Klas Smed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aron Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Bengt-Arne Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Sundén, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Överhörnäs BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Linus Nilsson scored to the left of an out of position Aron Jonsson, making the score, 0-2. 82 minutes into the match, Forshaga IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Sundén came free, but Nils Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mårten Bokelund during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Forshaga IF's Mårten Bokelund got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bengt-Arne Sundén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Gustavsson having to make a save. The Forshaga IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
