Spectators: 7296 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Klas Kock made the kick off and thus started the match. Fc Pool's attentive Bo Alstedt managed to snatch the ball when Hans Lundgren made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Joakim Häger hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Uno Skog came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Pool's Klas Kock. But to his dismay, Klas Kock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Fc Pool's goalkeeper Birger Ahlström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erland Pihlgren. In the 26th minute, Karl-Oskar Billvall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sorunda IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A hard shot 31 in the game by Edvard Classon from a close distance when the talented Birger Ahlström managed to make a qualified save. Fc Pool's players were relieved. Uno Skog stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Elg's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Klas Kock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uno Skog. Sorunda IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klas Kock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 39th match minute, Fc Pool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Malmberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Kent Palmquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birger Ahlström skillfully saved the ball. If David Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kent Palmquist fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorunda IFK's protests and gave Kent Palmquist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Sorunda IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Palmquist to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Stenman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uno Skog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Kock, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Joakim Stenman scored 4-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birger Ahlström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Klas Kock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uno Skog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Sorunda IFK's Uno Skog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Sorunda IFK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sorunda IFK booed when Fc Pool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Oskar Billvall kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Christian Pettersson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Pool's Bo Alstedt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Elg got free with Uno Skog in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hampus Bergqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Uno Skog made a huge save. In the 84th match minute, Sorunda IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Häger to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Sorunda IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Kock came free, but Uno Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Lundgren made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fc Pool's Bo Alstedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Kock in the 92nd minute of play forced Sorunda IFK's goalkeeper Uno Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birger Ahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Stenman in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Kock in the 96th minute of play forced Sorunda IFK's goalkeeper Uno Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Oskar Billvall's late challenge caught a Fc Pool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Billvall helped the player get up and apologised. Fc Pool's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sorunda IFK had won, even though Fc Pool had held more of the ball.
