With a little luck, FC Holy Talents's Börge Henriksson got control of the ball when Gösta Ånger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Örjan Åkerberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svante Hedman skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the match, The Miracle's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Brandt came free, but Svante Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börge Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alvar Åberg sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Torgny Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Miracle's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börge Henriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the game, George Karlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Holy Talents's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Miracle the free kick. A collision led to FC Holy Talents getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. George Karlsson hit a great ball. Knut Malm struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Börge Henriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Miracle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Lundström in the 47th minute of play forced FC Holy Talents's goalkeeper Börge Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torgny Lundström made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Gösta Ånger notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Holy Talents's Börge Henriksson. Börge Henriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, The Miracle's Alvar Åberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes, Ulrik Högström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Holy Talents and the The Miracle players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Carl Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svante Hedman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Bäcklin got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Brandt got free with Svante Hedman in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Carl Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Ånger might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börge Henriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Ånger ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Holy Talents's goalkeeper Börge Henriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Börge Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Ånger in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börge Henriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Holy Talents's Åke Sandström suffered a concussion after 89 minutes and had to leave the field. When Torgny Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Miracle's protests and gave Torgny Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. Torgny Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Gösta Ånger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Miracle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Ånger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Olof Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Holy Talents players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Miracle.
