Svante Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Biörling in the 5th minute of play. Claes Samuelsson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Gösta Ånger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Miracle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Ånger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torgny Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Svante Hedman managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Bondi Beach Club's Claes Samuelsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Miracle's Svante Hedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save The Miracle from getting a goal against them. Bondi Beach Club's Simon Henriksson pulled a muscle in his leg after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Emil Bäcklin fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Miracle's protests and gave Emil Bäcklin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The Miracle getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emil Bäcklin hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, The Miracle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Ånger to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Jonasson having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Bondi Beach Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Ånger came free, but Kjell Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torgny Lundström made a kick off. Kjell Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Lundström in the 52nd minute of play. Gösta Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Jonasson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bondi Beach Club's Roy Billing got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gösta Ånger struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Kjell Jonasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Miracle. Claes Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Torgny Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Jonasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Torgny Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Miracle's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Jonasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Gösta Ånger fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kjell Jonasson, passed just outside the right post. Kjell Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Lundström in the 91st minute of the match. Claes Samuelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svante Hedman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Miracle eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
