Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bertil Valler started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Martin Heggert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sydkoster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Heggert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Heggert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jonas Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvard Bållström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Axelsson having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Bertil Valler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. August Snäll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. August Snäll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilhelm Petersson went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 18 minutes of play, Ballers FC's Bertil Valler made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After the first half Ballers FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Heggert to make the kick off.
