BK Ryggorna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uttran the free kick. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BK Ryggorna! Uttran's Sven-Åke Beck got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tom Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, BK Ryggorna's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Beck came free, but Mats Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Uttran were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 63rd minute, Karl-Axel Brander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrad Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Greger Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Uttran defense, Tomas Falkrans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Greger Månsson. The Uttran fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Greger Månsson should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Uttran's zone, Konrad Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greger Månsson came out of the goal and Konrad Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Konrad Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Falkrans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Konrad Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tomas Falkrans managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Ryggorna's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Falkrans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greger Månsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Konrad Holmgren notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Uttran's Greger Månsson. Greger Månsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sven-Åke Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Holmgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greger Månsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Uttran's Greger Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Holmgren in the 93rd minute of play. Greger Månsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konrad Holmgren went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tomas Falkrans might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Greger Månsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Falkrans ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK Ryggorna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uttran had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
