The audience was convinced that Edvin Norström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Modig was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Daniel Wahlnäs hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, BK Ryggorna's Dag Bremming tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Konrad Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomas Falkrans came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the BK Ryggorna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Falkrans couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, one of Ingelstad IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for BK Ryggorna. Dag Bremming stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving August Gallberg. 0-1. Sven-Edvin Lundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mats Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Ingelstad IFK's Daniel Wahlnäs tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Andréas Bergvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Modig having to interfere. With his leg Mats Modig managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Ingelstad IFK's Andréas Bergvall fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hubert Flinck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tom Hammarbäck charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Hammarbäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ingelstad IFK booed when BK Ryggorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Hammarbäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Edvin Lundin during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. BK Ryggorna's Tomas Falkrans got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. August Gallberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Gallberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Falkrans in the 95th minute. The Ingelstad IFK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BK Ryggorna's performance. The match ended with a win for BK Ryggorna.
