Bengt-Arne Nyberg succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Jakob Skytt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Nyberg in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Arne Nyberg was the one to do the kick off. Bengt-Arne Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jakob Skytt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hallstahammar. 67 minutes into the match, B.A.R.C.A's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Nyberg came free, but Jakob Skytt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bengt-Arne Nyberg came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Hallstahammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Nyberg couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Hallstahammar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
