In the 47thth minute of the game Sven Albäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rydebäck SS's Martin Ström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Urban Söderkvist made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Albäck got free with Martin Ström in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rydebäck SS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Marc Wahlström hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Gunnar Vennerlund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Martin Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Vennerlund in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Ruda FK got a corner. Rydebäck SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivar Sjöö ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ruda FK's Ivar Sjöö to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Ström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 67 minutes, Mattias Bratt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruda FK and the Rydebäck SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ruda FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
