Spectators: 7110 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viktor Emander took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fc Drenica's Henrik Carlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrik Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Östman having to interfere. Henrik Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cagliari Calcio's zone, Henrik Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvid Östman came out of the goal and Henrik Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Peder Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Drenica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cagliari Calcio the free kick. 32 minutes into the match, Fc Drenica's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Emander came free, but Elof Kellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Fc Drenica got a freekick which was hit by John Hellkvist. In the 34th minute of the match Vilhelm Ekberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elof Kellman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Henrik Carlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arvid Östman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Carlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Arvid Östman managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Fc Drenica's Henrik Carlsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute, Henrik Carlsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arvid Östman. The goal made the score 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Carlsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrik Carlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arvid Östman having to make a save. After 55 played minutes, Cagliari Calcio's Vilhelm Ekberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elof Kellman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cagliari Calcio reached it. Matthias Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arvid Östman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elof Kellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Emander in the 63rd minute of play. Cagliari Calcio's Kåre Jönsson got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Peder Eklund was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Peder Eklund hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Kåre Jönsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 67th playminute. John Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Vilhelm Ekberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Joacim Ekeberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes of play, Cagliari Calcio's Kåre Jönsson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elof Kellman was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cagliari Calcio getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Vilhelm Ekberg hit a great ball. If Henrik Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Drenica's Joacim Ekeberg got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Åke Ånger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
