Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henry Engman got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Henry Engman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Alefors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Göran Kielberg came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the VS AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Kielberg couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Anton Björkman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cave Canem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VS AIK the free kick. Arne Lenberg took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Alefors. Kevin Alefors dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Henry Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cave Canem's Anton Björkman got a free kick in the 17th minute. A hard shot by Max Dusett from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Kevin Alefors's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 24 minutes into the game, Henry Engman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kevin Alefors. Henry Engman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, VS AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Abrahamsson came free, but Nils-Åke Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sverker Ambjörnsson during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to VS AIK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Henry Engman hit a great ball. Nils-Åke Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Abrahamsson in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Abrahamsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arne Lenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Henry Engman sped through Cave Canem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Alefors. In the 64th match minute, Cave Canem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Kellman to maneuver through the defense. Henry Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Alefors having to interfere. Roger Abrahamsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Henry Engman came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the VS AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Engman couldn't finish the play. VS AIK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
