Spectators: 7358 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olov Friberger started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Saltholmens FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Friberger came free, but Lucas Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rolf Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Olov Friberger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Göran Bank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Saltholmens FC's goalkeeper Lucas Sandström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Bank. After having played for 29 minutes, Göran Bank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berra BoIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Bank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Sandström was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Olov Friberger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olov Friberger really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Berra BoIS's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Bollström came free, but Mats Fagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Berra BoIS booed when Saltholmens FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Danielsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Friberger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Berra BoIS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 44th minute of the match Berra BoIS got a corner. Saltholmens FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pontus Vedholm ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Berra BoIS's Hubert Kinell to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucas Sandström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mats Fagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Molin in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolf Bollström to make the kick off. Zebastian Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mats Fagerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pontus Vedholm was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Göran Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Sandström having to interfere. Walter Danielsson's late challenge caught a Berra BoIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saltholmens FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Walter Danielsson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Saltholmens FC's zone, Olov Friberger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Sandström came out of the goal and Olov Friberger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolf Bollström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Göran Bank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Sandström having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saltholmens FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Berra BoIS.
