QPR's Kasper Örnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Söderberg in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Deckberg in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasper Örnberg saved QPR from getting behind. After 17 minutes, Bengt Tholsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the QPR and the Latikberg FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Latikberg FF booed when QPR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Tholsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to QPR getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alex Johansson hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Latikberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Höijer came free, but Christer Siöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Örnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Bark, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Christer Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Kvarnström in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of QPR booed when Latikberg FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Hök didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Latikberg FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Johansson was slow to take the kick. During this time QPR's players had a chance to rest. Lennart Dahlqvist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to QPR getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Torgny Höijer hit a great ball. Edward Stålberg hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Björn Kvarnström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Björn Kvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens Söderberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kasper Örnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Hök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasper Örnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Bark, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Kristoffer Bark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latikberg FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristoffer Bark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kasper Örnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Söderberg in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, QPR's Kasper Örnberg got control of the ball when Kristoffer Bark tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Torgny Höijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torgny Höijer struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Christer Siöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for QPR. Björn Kvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes of play, QPR's Torgny Höijer made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Siöberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Björn Kvarnström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Siöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
