Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Torgny Eriksson made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Kolbäck IF got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Mellin. Sibbhult IFK's Martin Österberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kolbäck IF. Egon Hasselqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Drewitz in the 10th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes, Sibbhult IFK's Arne Törnblom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dennis Blom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sibbhult IFK reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Eriksson in the 18th minute of play forced Sibbhult IFK's goalkeeper Egon Hasselqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Nordström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Torgny Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Kolbäck IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Eriksson couldn't finish the play. Sibbhult IFK's Egon Hasselqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Drewitz in the 46th minute of play. The Sibbhult IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kolbäck IF were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Nordström to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Christian Sandström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolbäck IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sibbhult IFK the free kick. Egon Hasselqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Eriksson in the 58th minute of play. Torgny Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Egon Hasselqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicklas Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dennis Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Nordström in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Torgny Eriksson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Torgny Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolbäck IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Hasselqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sibbhult IFK's Fabian Widberg managed to work through Kolbäck IF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fabian Widberg dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 93rd minute, Nicklas Drewitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kolbäck IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kolbäck IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
