Spectators: 6832 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filip Vennersten took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hjalmar Sjöman in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filip Vennersten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Håkan Ugla came out and tried to block the shot, but Filip Vennersten slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Roy Björkkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Berglund. Brokinds IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roy Björkkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With 13 minutes on the clock, Sven-Edvin Damm commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 12th minute, one of Klövedal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Klövedal. In the 19th minute, Filip Vennersten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Håkan Ugla. The goal made the score 3-1. Claes Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Ugla having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roy Björkkvist in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens Berglund saved Brokinds IF from getting behind. Jens Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Björkkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Klövedal booed when Brokinds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Klintæus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Ugla made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Claes Björnsson sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Roy Björkkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Klintæus during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Vennersten in the 58th minute of play forced Klövedal's goalkeeper Håkan Ugla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klövedal's Håkan Ugla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Vennersten in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Björkkvist got free with Jens Berglund in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 minutes, Malte Tunström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brokinds IF and the Klövedal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Brokinds IF got a freekick which was hit by Malte Tunström. Roy Björkkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Roy Björkkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klövedal's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Björkkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Berglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brokinds IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Klövedal for a fine match.
