Karl-Johan Haglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torgny Brummer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Johan Haglund ran back to his position shaking his head. Torgny Brummer came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Vrångö's Karl-Johan Haglund. But to his dismay, Karl-Johan Haglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Ekgren in the 18th minute of play forced Vrångö's goalkeeper Evert Billing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Billing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Ekgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Oskar Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Torgny Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Johan Haglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torgny Brummer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Ekgren in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Billing saved Vrångö from getting behind. Karl-Johan Haglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Karl-Johan Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vrångö's Evert Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Ekgren in the 38th minute of play. Patrik Sellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Nils-Erik Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Karl-Johan Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredrik Ekgren made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Patrik Sellberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Oskar Dahlberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Vansbro's Kurt Hägg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vrångö. In the 61st minute, Fredrik Ekgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vansbro booed when Vrångö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Dalman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Patrik Sellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sven-Oskar Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Billing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Ekgren's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Patrik Sellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Ekgren in the 88th minute of the match. Patrik Sellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Billing having to interfere. Otto Dalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Brummer having to interfere. If Sven-Oskar Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
