Marcus Fågel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Lövkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Tommy Aspengren made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Nils-Erik Myhr sent off a good shot on target. Mattias Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Gamleby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Fågel came free, but Sebastian Lövkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Lövkvist came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Nolby IK's Marcus Fågel. But to his dismay, Marcus Fågel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 17 minutes, Sverker Qvalfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nolby IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sverker Qvalfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Marcus Fågel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gamleby RK's Sebastian Lövkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Sverker Qvalfeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Lövkvist. Gamleby RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sverker Qvalfeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 26 minutes into the game, Nils Jakobsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sebastian Lövkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agne Hamnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Fågel in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Lövkvist saved Gamleby RK from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Gamleby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Fågel came free, but Sebastian Lövkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Lövkvist having to interfere. In the 39th minute Marcus Fågel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Lövkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcus Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Lövkvist was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Gamleby RK's Sebastian Lövkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Qvalfeldt in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Qvalfeldt in the 47th minute of play forced Gamleby RK's goalkeeper Sebastian Lövkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Jakobsson was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Gamleby RK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Agne Hamnberg hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Marcus Fågel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Lövkvist skillfully saved the ball. When Nils-Erik Myhr came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gamleby RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Erik Myhr couldn't finish the play. Marcus Fågel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Axelsson's late challenge caught a Nolby IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nolby IK booed when Gamleby RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Nolby IK's Marcus Fågel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tommy Aspengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Dahlqvist in the 65th minute of the match. Nils-Erik Myhr scored 1-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Aspengren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Gamleby RK's goalkeeper Sebastian Lövkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sverker Qvalfeldt. The supporters of Nolby IK booed when Gamleby RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Dahlqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Sverker Qvalfeldt notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Gamleby RK's Sebastian Lövkvist. Sebastian Lövkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Kenneth Pihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nolby IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Pihlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Lövkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Fågel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sebastian Lövkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sverker Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Simon Engström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nolby IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Engström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Lövkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig Wik in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Lövkvist saved Gamleby RK from getting behind. Nolby IK played a much better game than Gamleby RK and deserved their victory. The Gamleby RK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
