He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Naruto FC reached it. With his leg Torsten Jonsson managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Naruto FC's Stig-Åke Vennerkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Backman in the 15th minute of play forced Kyliga Osby's goalkeeper Torsten Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Georg Backman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Robert Rolandsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklas Kinnman was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Naruto FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Peter Helström hit a great ball. Robert Rolandsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kyliga Osby's Robert Rolandsson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Robert Rolandsson came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kyliga Osby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Rolandsson couldn't finish the play. Stefan Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Kinnman having to interfere. Tord Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Naruto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Hultman came free, but Niklas Kinnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Niklas Kinnman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stefan Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Gunnarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Niklas Kinnman made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kyliga Osby players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
