The supporters of Kimstad BF booed when Holsbybrunn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthias Gulliksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Peter Nyman made a huge save. Matthias Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Kolberg in the 20th minute of play forced Holsbybrunn IF's goalkeeper Peter Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well done corner resulted in Matthias Gulliksson drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Holsbybrunn IF's goalkeeper. Kimstad BF's Bernt Kolberg got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Kimstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Löfgren came free, but Mårten Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Peter Nyman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Löfgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Hellsing's late challenge caught a Kimstad BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Hellsing helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Holsbybrunn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. Peter Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Kolberg in the 54th minute of play. Peter Nyman came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Kimstad BF's Bernt Kolberg. But to his dismay, Bernt Kolberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Holsbybrunn IF's zone, Bernt Kolberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Nyman came out of the goal and Bernt Kolberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Grubb in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Nyman saved Holsbybrunn IF from getting behind. Bernt Kolberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Peter Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Holsbybrunn IF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Kent Magnusson hit a great ball. Peter Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Gulliksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Matthias Gulliksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Holsbybrunn IF got a freekick which was hit by Bo Sundström. 75 minutes into the match, Matthias Gulliksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Nyman. Holsbybrunn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Gulliksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Peter Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Gulliksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erling Brander might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Nyman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erling Brander ran back to his position shaking his head. Matthias Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernt Kolberg took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Nyman. Peter Nyman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kimstad BF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Holsbybrunn IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
