In the 3rd match minute, A.C SPORTING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Åke Hökqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Frank Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Frank Hansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Åke Hökqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Holm RK's Karl-Åke Hökqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Hansson in the 16th minute of play. When Frank Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the A.C SPORTING fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Hansson couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes A.C SPORTING got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Käller. In the 25th minute, Tobias Melander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Ingemarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Karl-Åke Hökqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Hansson in the 29th minute of play. Frank Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Ivarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Åke Hökqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Ivarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Holm RK's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Arvidsson came free, but Karl-Åke Hökqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A.C SPORTING getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tobias Ivarsson hit a great ball. Tobias Melander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennart Thedin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bror Aspengren charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bror Aspengren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Holm RK got a freekick which was hit by Bror Aspengren. Eddie Nässén was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Tobias Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Holm RK's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Arvidsson came free, but Karl-Åke Hökqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Arvidsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Åke Hökqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Kristian Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Holm RK booed when A.C SPORTING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Käller didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Frank Hansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Karl-Åke Hökqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C SPORTING's goalkeeper Anders Ingemarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anders Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Melander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Anders Ingemarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lennart Thedin fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holm RK's protests and gave Lennart Thedin a yellow card for diving instead. 90 minutes into the game, Jimmie Käller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C SPORTING's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holm RK the free kick. The supporters of Holm RK booed when A.C SPORTING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Käller didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lennart Thedin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C SPORTING's Anders Ingemarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C SPORTING's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
