Lars Käller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Malmström in the 8th minute of the match. Patrick Svensson charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Svensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrick Svensson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Birger Malmström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lars Käller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Hellsing might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Käller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens Hellsing ran back to his position shaking his head. If Birger Malmström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Bocklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Käller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Malmström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Olof Rosén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fabian Rudkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olof Rosén was the one to do the kick off. Olof Rosén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Douglas Bocklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halltorp IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Bocklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Rudkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Douglas Bocklund made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Rudkvist. Åmotsbruk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lars Käller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Malmström in the 65th minute of play. When Patrick Svensson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Birger Malmström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lars Käller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When John Hellgren fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åmotsbruk's protests and gave John Hellgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Åmotsbruk got a freekick which was hit by John Hellgren. 80 minutes into the match, Halltorp IFK's Niklas Lindström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Douglas Bocklund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Fabian Rudkvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 86th minute Birger Malmström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Käller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Åmotsbruk's zone, Douglas Bocklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Rudkvist came out of the goal and Douglas Bocklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Bocklunds short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Fabian Rudkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 94 minutes into the game, one of Åmotsbruk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Niklas Lindström shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
