Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Halltorp IFK's Olof Rosén started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niklas Ahlstedt went to the wrong direction when Niklas Lindström was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Olof Rosén struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Niklas Ahlstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halltorp IFK. If Isaac Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalstorps Akademi FF's Niklas Ahlstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Bocklund in the 14th minute of play. Niklas Ahlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Rosén in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Olof Rosén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halltorp IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Rosén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Bocklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Gudmundsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Lars Käller when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Östman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match Stellan Brandt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Käller skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Olof Rosén took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Niklas Ahlstedt to make any attempt to save it. When Henry Gudmundsson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Dalstorps Akademi FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Gudmundsson couldn't finish the play. Niklas Ahlstedt stood somewhat misplaced when Douglas Bocklund came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 64 minute. Lars Käller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Gudmundsson in the 69th minute of play. Henry Gudmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Olof Rosén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niklas Ahlstedt. That made the score 0-3 in the 72 minute of play. Douglas Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Bocklund got free with Niklas Ahlstedt in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
