An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Johansson in the 17th minute of play forced Askersund's goalkeeper Krister Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Alexander Larsson managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Askersund's Casper Kellbom fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Askersund's Martin Björnberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Larsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Albert Albohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Georg Beneth's late challenge caught a Askersund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Albohm in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Albert Albohm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexander Larsson. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, Askersund's Albert Albohm got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Karl-Axel Ekeroth fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Askersund's protests and gave Karl-Axel Ekeroth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Arvid Boberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Askersund players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
