Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Johnny Hägglund started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Billinge defense, Johnny Hägglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Säfström. The Billinge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Säfström should have stopped the shot. Täfteå's Petter Ahlin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Billinge booed when Täfteå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Telin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Mats Carlsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonny Sandwall. The goal made the score 1-1. After 16 played minutes Billinge got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Jonsson. In the 19th match minute, Täfteå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Telin to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Täfteå's Johnny Hägglund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulf Säfström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Billinge getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Roland Bolin hit a great ball. Ulf Säfström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Hägglund in the 28th minute of the match. Johnny Hägglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Säfström having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Olle Telin made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Säfström. Billinge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Johnny Hägglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ulf Säfström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zebastian Isaksson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Täfteå's Hjalmar Axelsson tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svante Skräddare to strike the kick off in the second half. If Johnny Hägglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Skräddare, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Johnny Hägglund notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Billinge's Ulf Säfström. Ulf Säfström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulf Säfström made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Johnny Hägglund sent off a good shot on target. Johnny Hägglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Johnny Hägglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Täfteå's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Hägglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Säfström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olle Telin might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulf Säfström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olle Telin ran back to his position shaking his head. Petter Ahlin's late challenge caught a Billinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petter Ahlin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Johnny Hägglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Olle Telin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Johnny Hägglund did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Ulf Säfström 89 minutes into the match.
