The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ludwig Hjortberg came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Zlatan BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Hjortberg couldn't finish the play. When Håkan Rang fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zlatan BK's protests and gave Håkan Rang a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Zlatan BK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Håkan Rang hit a great ball. Gustaf Åhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Karl Qvarnström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Göran Jönsson. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Karl Qvarnström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 minutes of play, Zlatan BK's Christer Biörkquist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oskar Apelquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of The Snoopy BOIS booed when Zlatan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Runeberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvar Bäckström might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Qvarnström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orvar Bäckström ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Zlatan BK defense, Orvar Bäckström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Qvarnström. The Zlatan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Qvarnström should have stopped the shot. Orvar Bäckström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Karl Qvarnström made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Zlatan BK's Gustaf Åhlberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Pedersson in the 31st minute of play forced Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Karl Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, The Snoopy BOIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Målare to maneuver through the defense. Christer Biörkquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Apelquist having to interfere. Karl Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Pedersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarl Pedersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Karl Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Åhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarl Pedersson to make the kick off. Christer Biörkquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, The Snoopy BOIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. Zlatan BK's Tom Holmgren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oskar Apelquist but with some difficulty. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Christer Biörkquist took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Oskar Apelquist to make any attempt to save it. Karl Qvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Pedersson in the 62nd minute of the match. Gustaf Åhlberg's late challenge caught a The Snoopy BOIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustaf Åhlberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zlatan BK's Gustaf Åhlberg got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jarl Pedersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Qvarnström having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Orvar Bäckström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Snoopy BOIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Michel Salqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petter Runeberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, Zlatan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Runeberg to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Erik Målare's late challenge caught a Zlatan BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Erik Målare helped the player get up and apologised. Nils-Erik Målare kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Snoopy BOIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tom Holmgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Zlatan BK's players had a chance to rest. Fredrik Bergkvist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
