After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Petter Runeberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zlatan BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Petter Runeberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Frisk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Bryngelsson during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claes Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hyllie IK's zone, Ludwig Hjortberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Frisk came out of the goal and Ludwig Hjortberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Hyllie IK's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Biörkquist came free, but Arne Frisk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hyllie IK's Henrik Hjelm got a free kick in the 16th minute. Arne Frisk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Runeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claes Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Albin Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Bergström in the 22nd minute of play. Arne Frisk came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Zlatan BK's Christer Biörkquist. But to his dismay, Christer Biörkquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christer Biörkquist in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Frisk saved Hyllie IK from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Henrik Hjelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludwig Hjortberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arne Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hyllie IK's Arne Frisk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Biörkquist in the 35th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Hyllie IK got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Wallgren. Ludwig Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Karl Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Qvarnström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albin Bergström was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Albin Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Qvarnström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Fågel went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Biörkquist in the 67th minute of play forced Hyllie IK's goalkeeper Arne Frisk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zlatan BK's Karl Qvarnström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Fågel in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes in the game, Gustaf Åhlberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arne Frisk having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Petter Runeberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Frisk was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Christer Biörkquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Hyllie IK's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Biörkquist came free, but Arne Frisk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Samuel Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute Samuel Fågel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Qvarnström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Samuel Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Bergström in the 95th minute of play forced Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Karl Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
