In the 17th minute Joakim Albohm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Albohm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Stars Shining's Hans Engström got a free kick in the 21st minute. Harry Westerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Edwin Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stars Shining's zone, Joakim Albohm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Dahlberg came out of the goal and Joakim Albohm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Skager hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The long shot by Börje Ekegren in the 29th minute really tested Edwin Dahlberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ingvar Felin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Åkerman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aron Asplund having to make a save. Harry Westerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edwin Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Harry Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Joakim Albohm made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Isaac Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sidensjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidensjö's Joakim Albohm got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edwin Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Albohm in the 62nd minute of play. Gösta Dalkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Dalkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gösta Dalkvist hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sidensjö booed when Stars Shining was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Dalkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joakim Albohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Ingvar Felin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stars Shining's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Felin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Jelm's late challenge caught a Sidensjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Jelm helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Albohm in the 90th minute of play forced Stars Shining's goalkeeper Edwin Dahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Westerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edwin Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stars Shining players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sidensjö.
